HPHT multifinger caliper

Highly accurate answers
when the heat is on

The HPHT Multifinger Caliper is a unique technology developed exclusively by READ in order to enable integrity logging of HPHT wells. The technology is based on industry-leading 40 finger multifinger caliper technology, and is used to evaluate the integrity of tubing or casing, providing highly-accurate assessment of barrier condition.

Through its high resolution and high data density measurement, this technology provides a continuous map of the well’s internal surface, delivering detailed understanding of downhole geometries and barrier condition.

It is the only tool in its class rated to 205°C (400°F) for up to 15 hours and 17.600 psi, allowing operators to survey previously unreachable hostile environments.

HPHT production logging tools

READ Cased Hole’s HPHT Production Logging Tool (HPHT PLT) is deployable in both surface readout and memory modes.

Engineered to withstand the harshest environments, all of the temperature sensitive components are enclosed in a high pressure flask that provides protection up to a maximum temperature of 572°F (300°C) for an in well period of up to 6 hours.

READ Cased Hole’s HPHT technology combines a variety of sensors on a single string, including Casing Collar Locator, Gamma Ray, Quartz Pressure and Temperature. Additional sensors can also be added, tailoring the tool string to each specific scenario by also integrating Capacitance Water Hold-up, Density (inertial) and Full Bore or Caged Flowmeter.

    Multifinger caliper (80 fingers)

    The 80-Finger Caliper tool is the only one of its kind and is unique to READ. It is designed to log up to 20″ casing, and was developed to meet industry well integrity requirements, enabling operators to gain an accurate insight into the condition of surface casing as well as to undertake effective pressure testing.

    Through its high resolution and high data density measurement, this technology provides a continuous map of the well’s internal surface. Commissioned by READ, it provides a fit-for-purpose integrity evaluation solution for larger diameter casings and conductors.

    ZeroTime pressure temperature gamma CCL

    Tough challenges require

    ZeroTime™ is a multi-functional ruggedised logging system comprising a suite of memory sensors that allows the operator to record fluid temperature, pressure, gamma ray and CCL response while conducting mechanical intervention operations. Our specially designed drill pipe and coiled tubing carrier systems ensure maximum data integrity without compromise to function and capability, allowing you to operate as normal, but with added diagnostic intelligence.

    Our Drill Pipe Gauge Carrier technology was developed to meet the specific needs of a customer. The DPGC allows these ruggedised probes to be simultaneously run on drill pipe whilst retaining pump-through capability and high tension, compression and torque characteristics. This permits data collection without additional runs in hole or the need to mobilise a wireline intervention set-up and crew.

    Our coiled tubing carrier technology is frequently used to convey a highly-versatile, high precision, correlation system to determine the position of moving inserts within downhole completion devices. This system has been designed to withstand hammering and jarring forces often required during manipulation of completion items or the delivery of remedial products. It provides fast data sampling and high sensitivity for accurate evaluation of the status of downhole hardware.

    ZeroTime pulsed neutron

    Ruggedised reservoir evaluation

    Flow behind pipe, updating fluid contacts, determining gravel pack condition, hydrocarbon saturation and mapping 3-phase hold up are essential to optimizing the long-term productivity and ultimate recovery from the reservoir. Pulsed neutron logging is an industry standard solution for providing this information, but until recently has been limited by legacy conveyance and logging programs.

    Our proprietary system allows the state-of-the-art RAS pulsed neutron tool to be deployed on coiled tubing or drill pipe, while retaining the ability to circulate fully.

    Complex well geometry, long horizontal sections, and locations without wireline capability. ZeroTime pulsed neutron increases the reach of the standard service and allows memory acquisition, simplifying conveyance requirements
